Refunds and Returns Policy
Returns and Exchanges
You or the recipient of an order may return an item that has been purchased from The Open Range because you have changed your mind or are unhappy with the product, only after authorization with a The Open Range representative. However, keep in mind we are not obligated to replace or refund a “change of mind” purchase, and in most cases will not accept a return on this basis, or on the basis that a purchased product is not compatible. So remember to choose your products carefully.
If you return goods via an Australia Post Office or a Courier, please keep the appropriate proof of return. Otherwise, if the returned item goes missing in transit to us, we will deem you not to have returned the item. It is your responsibility to ensure the goods are adequately packaged to ensure that they are not damaged during return transit. We will not issue a return or exchange unless the product/s are in a saleable condition upon return.
All returned products must be:
1. Unused, unopened and in original condition
2. Undamaged
3. Returned within 30 days of delivery
Goods Damaged or Faulty on Delivery
You may return damaged or faulty goods within 7 days of receipt. If a product is later deemed to be faulty, normal manufacturer warranty conditions for that product apply. It is the recipient's responsibility to incur all costs and to follow warranty instructions as stated on the product warranty card as specified by the manufacturer.
In the event that you receive a defective or damaged product, we will provide you with a replacement, only after we determine the product to be faulty. We will dispatch your replacement item (subject to availability) at your cost only once received, tested, confirmed faulty and processed.
Please allow up to 4 - 8 weeks for faulty product testing and return authority processing, at both The Open Range and its suppliers, after time of arrival at The Open Range. Refunds and replacements will only be issued after testing has concluded. All refunds are conducted via the same method of payment as the initial transaction.
If any provision of this Policy shall be held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the validity, legality, and enforceability of the remaining provisions of this Policy shall in no way be affected or impaired thereby, so long as the remaining provisions of this Policy still express the original intent of The Open Range. If the original intent of The Open Range cannot be preserved, this Policy shall either be renegotiated or terminated.
The Open Range may update this policy at any time without prior notice.
